Now THIS is Incredible

Ξ June 2nd, 2007 | → 10 Comments | ∇ Animal Stories, Hmmm!, Whatever, YouTube |

I do not spend much time on the YouTube web site as it is highly addictive and a person can spend numerous hours (read that as waste numerous hours) watching stupid videos of no value whatsoever.

Today, however, I went to the site because I could not remember if it was Utube or YouTube and I needed to send the URL to someone. By chance, the video below was on the home page. This has nothing to do with Costa Rica, but has everything to do with a great and lucky amateur video.

Filmed by a bunch of tourists, maybe in Africa, it is an incredible video featuring a herd of water buffalo, a pride of lions and one very unexpected visitor. Watch it!

In the future, perhaps you could give a warning that a baby something was about to be eaten?

Obviously you never bothered to watch it. Nothing was eaten.

I watched for the first 5 minutes, until the baby was being ripped in two by lions and a croc.

    Huh?

“…until the baby was being ripped in two…”.

I suggest you watch the entire video BEFORE you comment.

Whoa – amazing that she got up!!! And I love that the water buffalo came back with reinforcements to get their baby. Pretty wild… you can’t make this stuff up. Nobody would believe it.

I agree saratica! This was just a case of being in the right place at the right time to record that thing. Sad that erin stopped watching. He is a complete idiot to make his comments without even bothering to look. He probably prejudges everything in his life without bothering to learn first.

Hi Phil. Thanks for the comment.

BTW I think Erin is a female person. In any case, it appears she never bothered to view the entire video as her apology is nowhere to be found 🙂

Exellent video. Thanks for sharing it. Just found your blog this morning. Intend to look it over. Enjoy reading it. From 1966 to 1968 I was stationed in the Canal Zone, I was lucky considering the time period. I took a week leave and visited San Jose. Loved the city and the friendly
people. Was impressed that at that time there were more school teachers than soldiers. Interesting in retrospect as I have just completed my 38th year teaching in a small coastal town next to Boston’s Logan airport.
Visited Irazu, the market, the Opera House and a local bar with the New York skyline on the wall. I think we stayed at a small guest house called Hotel Las Americas. I made a promise to return someday. Costa Rica made such a positive impression on me. I would like to return for a visit with my wife someday.

WOW! Great video…thanks for sharing. And humans think animals are dumb! Look at all the cooperation…the lions cooperate to hunt…the water buffalo cooperate to rescue and the crocks cooperate in calculating a aggressive takeover! Great stuff!
