]]> http://www.hisfault.com/2005/12/01/dog-eats-nica/comment-page-1/#comment-9946 ion carlos Tue, 27 Jan 2009 15:43:53 +0000 http://www.hisfault.com/?p=122#comment-9946 to some whom might not know the real story back in history..first of all let me tell you about me...42 years young.. raised in guanacaste..moved to san jose after hi school and then the usa when i was 22 to study and then work.. im still in the new york area but have been traveling to costa rica back n forth.... back in the day.. when they drew all the plans to be published and included on the first maps of central america, whoever drew the plans made several mistakes.. which were totally understandable... very rudimentary equipment..no technology at all,, well they did not consider at all the guancaste region.. in other words they were left out.. no nation, no president, no goverment..none existant.. so the guanacasteans found out and decided to form there own political party..called el partido de nicoya..and continued trading goods with what was costa rica.. so when time came the xperts in redoing and fixing mistakes on map.. they asked guanacasteans who they wanted to anexed btw.. we shouldve stayed as an indepnded party.. too bad i was not there..lol.. so anyways.. the nicoya party said they wanted to anex to costa rica since they had already been trading goods and having a nice relationship..to conclude this.. story..back in those days.. nicaragua nor any other land was "legit" it was all open territory...i just get when nicaraguans claim guanacaste used to belong to them..i can only imagine they wish it did.. but no. sorry!! the problem with nicaraguans i tend to understand.. its a nation that has been greatly impacted by horrible natural dissaters, war, comunism, i mean you name it... and when they see such blessed country...like costa rica,, peaceful, nice people, et, etc.. they want to be there.. they want it.. or at least a piece of the pie..NO WORRIES.. WE COSTA RICANS.. ARE PROTECTED NOT ONLY BY GOD BUT BY INTERNATIONAL GOVERMENTS/UN/ WE ARE SUCH AN EXAMPLE TO THE WORLD THAT EVENTHOUGH WE HAVE NO ARMY.. COSTA RICA WILL ALWAYS BE COSTA RICA...THE RICH COAST/ THE BLESSED COAST..THE PURA VIDA COAST! This will probably all get resolved as soon as the Nicas cool down aboutone of their local felons getting eaten the other night by a Rottweiler as he was visiting a bodega in the middle of the night…. to visit his girlfriend. And if it doesn’t, we’ll just call George!
